KM Dance Project presents evening of dance featuring the works of three emerging New Orleans choreographers—Kesha McKey, Jarrell Hamilton, and Catherine Caldwell.

These bodies of work encompass the exhibition of the African American female body image and the establishment of European ideas of black female sexuality, emotional challenges, and physical manifestations in relationship to survival instincts, the body and soul of mother-daughter relationships, and all nationalities of people immersed in love through the power of music and social dance.
Presented with support from the Contemporary Arts Center New Orleans’ performance support program. This program is presented in part by a Community Arts Grant made possible by the City of New Orleans and administered by the Arts Council New Orleans, and supported by an Artistic Assistance Project Development Grant administered by Alternate ROOTS.
