Music Rising at Tulane, in conjunction with the Neighborhood Story Project and the Preservation Hall Foundation, hosts its fifth and final concert in the L’union creole series: Les cenelles.

Les cenelles plays a fusion of historic creole and original compositions with piano and various stringed instruments. Inspired by traditional folk music of the region, technology, and soul, Les cenelles will punctuate the popular concert series with a spirit of wonder and time travel. Les cenelles is composed of the following locally-based musicians: Joseph Darensbourg, free feral, Sultana Isham, Cory Diane, David Mun Thom, Peter Bowling, Courtney Bryan, and Denise Frazier.
