The Zulu Lundi Gras Festival is a fun-filled day allowing the citizens of New Orleans and our city visitors an up-close look at the Zulu Mardi Gras Characters. The festival will feature all local, world-renowned and Grammy award winning entertainers performing on three stages providing non-stop music. Everyone can join in a second line as the Zulu Mardi Gras Characters parade every hour throughout Woldenberg Park. You may be lucky enough to receive a treasured carnival throw, the Zulu Coconut! You can also witness the arrival of the King and Queen of Zulu by U.S. Coast Guard Cutter at 5:00 PM
The entire event is hosted by the 800 members of the Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club, Inc., and we welcome you to a fun, and exciting day of food, music, arts and crafts along the beautiful riverfront of New Orleans near the famous French Quarters. The festival is free and open to the public.
VIP seating provides an all-day reserved seat with in and out privileges in front of the main stage with easy access to food, drink and restroom. See up close the great local artists and the arrival of King and Queen Zulu 2017.
