(Gifted aka Villain) – New Orleans is known for doing almost everything big, boastful, and flashy. From its style of cuisine to its grand parades, there’s always “lagniappe”, or something extra. But the only thing “extra” about music artist Gifted is his humble demeanor and God-given ambition to bring his talent to the forefront of music.

As an emerging artist “(INDEPENDENT)”, Gifted is definitely a contender for who’s got next.

“My work ethic is non-stop because I want to become the greatest. My style, swagger, and motivation are unlike any new artist,” says the handsome Kenner, La native.

Gifted began perfecting his craft at the age of 12. Growing up, he was musically influenced by rappers like T.I, Jay-Z, Nas, Wale, J.Cole,B.O.B, Juelz Santana, Mac of No Limit Records, Lil Wayne, and Eminem just to name a few. He creatively blended his influences into a unique style totally his own.

Today, Gifted is a musical beast. He has evolved tremendously in terms of lyrical content, vocabulary, and overall swagger. His ability to deliver clever punch lines and stories eliminates any competition. Gifted is clearly no one’s “local joker”!
