Despite a report last week that University of Kentucky head coach John Calipary was a candidate for the Pelicans head coaching vacancy, Calipary quickly dispelled any rumors that he would rejoin his former players Anthony Davis and Tyreke Evans as the Pelicans’ next coach.

Calipary said on twitter:

Even though Anthony and Tyreke are in NOLA, I have no interest in the Pelicans or any other job. I have a great job and I’m happy at UK.
